All You Need Is Love

Frankening really has taken the polish world by storm and today I have to show you Dollish Polish custom franken polish! The set I have to show is the Love and Anti Love Valentines Custom Franken Polish Duo. This set consists of two polishes; a pearly pink with glitter and a red and black glitter.

They came in their own little organza bag! cute aye!

I love how Love Is A Battlefield has a broken heart logo on the label

This is two coats of Love Me Tender. It applied nicely although the polish is slightly on the thick side. At certain angles you can see a VNL but once you put the glitter over the top you can't tell.

And this is one coat of Love Is A Battlefield. I looooove this combo!! It is just awesome.
Dollish Polish has a lot of polishes available on her Etsy shop so check it out! There is a link at the beginning of this post but I'll put it again HERE.
Have a great day!

OPI Show It And Glow It

Today I have for you all a polish from the 2011 Burlesque collection. I know it's not new but I'm going to 'show it' anyway. I have two more of the Burlesque glitters: Simmer and Shimmer and Sparkle-icious but I cannot decide which on is my favourite! They're all just so awesome!

This polish covers completely in two coats! I love a good glitter that covers well =)
Have a good weekend everyone!

Hey Stud

Hey everyone! I hope your weekend is treating you well. There is going to be a post in the next week or so which I am very excited about. I have to wait for them to arrive though! Cant wait!! Mysterious enough for you?
I had some nail mail arrive this morning from the lovely Traci over at The Trace Face Philes. I bought two polishes from her blog sale:

China Glaze Side-Saddle and Awakening
I also had nail mail earlier in the week and was something that I've been wanting for quite a while: OPI Show It And Glow It from the Burlesque range. A bit late to the party I know but at least I'm showing up haha.
Today I am going to show you my first shot at using bullion beads that I got from Born Pretty.

I used two coats of OPI Dating A Royal and stamped using white Konad polish and Fauxnad plate M79. Then used the beads on my ring finger as an accent. I like the way it came out but the beads drove me nuts!! as soon as they were dry I wanted to pick them off. I don't know why but I could not deal with the feel of them on my nail. Maybe they'll be better closer together....
Anyway, enjoy your day. TTFN (channeling my inner Tigger =P)

Dannii and stamping

I'm still not over how awesome Zoya Dannii is so today I have it with some stamping. I think for the first time ever I have taken a polish off because it was chipped and put on the exact same polish again! That is how much I love Dannii =P

<3
This is two coats of Dannii. Stamping polish is Konad special polish white and plate is Fauxnad M73

Zoya Dannii

I know you all have probably seen this polish a million times but it has recently found its way into my collection and I need to bask in the beauty that is Zoya Dannii. This is my new favourite purple, I never want to take it off!

this is two coats with a top coat

Move over OPI Do You Lilac It? You've just been bumbed to #2 position (but don't worry, I still love you)

I thought I'd show you all this as well. This is what I did after work last night. A few years ago, a friend gave me this bottle and it was filled with three colours of jellybeans. They were waaaay past their best by date so I decided to spruce it up a bit and re-did it with M'n'Ms. Unfortunately there were less orange ones so that layer is smaller than the rest.

Back To Basics & Nail Mail

Hello! Today was a good day for nail polish! I received two nail mail parcels, one from Born Pretty and one from USA Nails Online. Here is what I got...

I thought I'd give the new born pretty mega plates a try. TBH, I'm a little disappointed. The images are waaay smaller than I thought they'd be and many of them wont cover the whole nail. The nice thing about these plates is that some of the images have a half-moon edge so they could be used as tip designs.

I also got a wheel of square rhinestones and a wheel of 'steel balls'. I this what some people call bullion beads?

This Color Club 'All About French" set arrived from USA Nails. I love a good french mani. There is something so classic and timeless about it. I got this set for $14 NZD (approx $11USD). I don't know if you ladies from the US think this is good or not but in NZ this is a very good price for 7 nail polishes from a good brand haha.

So here is my french mani using Color Club French Tip and Color Club Femme A La Mode.

Nicole By OPI Kim-Pletely In Love

Hye guys. I meant to post this yesterday however time got away from me and I didn't manage to so here it is! Swatches of Nicole By OPI Kim-pletely In Love. This is polish is a light pink with a flecky blue shimmer.

This was three coats without a top coat. Very pretty and girly.

In response to a question on my post about Zoya Kissy, here is a shot of Kissy with out a base colour. It took four coats to get this level of opacity
